TIR is constantly scanning and updating our records to reflect the most current equipment listings as well as purchasing and maintaining a company inventory of surplus units from which to select. Engineering Feasibility Studies

When purchasing used equipment, from steam turbine generator sets to complete process plants, the most important first step is to be confident that the equipment you select will meet your power needs. TIR's engineering feasibility study will help determine the best available equipment and provide estimates regarding the cost and time involved in bringing that piece of equipment up to the operating specifications that you require.

Reapplication of Used Rotating Equipment

Upon evaluation of equipment to verify condition and adaptability to your requirements, TIR offers a physical and aerodynamic analysis to determine the life expectancy and performance of all critical components. When you plan to re-rate and reapply a surplus unit, TIR provides a realistic project forecast that helps you manage your bottom line.

Reverse Engineering

Turbo Industrial Resources offers complete dimensional data on all critical components utilizing calibrated instruments and coordinate measuring equipment. We provide documentation, including material chemistry, mechanical properties, weld procedures, heat treat specifications and AutoCAD drawings. When you utilize our engineering expertise, you can be assured of expert results.

Skid Packaging

When you need it all, TIR provides complete packaging of turbine, pump, gear, and generator sets with lube systems. All are supplied through certified facilities to meet API or your company specifications.

Process Manufacturing Inspections

When equipment is shipped to distant locations for repair, utilizing our service gives you the confidence that repairs are done in a timely and cost efficient manner. TIR provides technical reviews of repair work procedures and recommendations at critical points throughout the repair process. Inspection data supplied includes drawings, material specifications and a digital log of the work performed.
